Navigator qualifications

We’re looking for people who have:

  1. A reputation as the go-to resource for parents in your community with a proven track record helping families navigate school, insurance, and/or government benefits;
  2. 5+ years of experience in successfully overcoming roadblocks presented by the various systems in support of your child’s care;
  3. Families and providers who would eagerly vouch for your integrity, attention to detail, and ability to get stuff done;
  4. A toolkit you’ve developed to advocate for your own child and shared with others. Examples would include that impeccable letter you wrote for an insurance denial that got overturned, or the "don’t mess with me" binder system you’ve created to stay on top of everything.
Are you compassionate and empathetic? Resourceful, tenacious, and organized? Adaptable to a constantly changing environment? Inspired by the intersection of healthcare and technology? Do you find humor where it’s needed most?
